“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”  —Matthew 21:22

This scripture tells about the LIFE-CHANGING POWER that comes when you pray, fast, and read the Word of God, The results are great and mighty. The Lord recently spoke to me that we are in a window of time, that God is going to show us direction and guidance during prayer that will effect our finances and our families. If we do not pray, we will miss these opportunities that God will avail to His children just before the coming of Christ.

There are numerous PATTERNS OF PRAYER in the Bible. Most people pray a free-style pattern. People just start praying. There are times God anoints this type of praying, but most often the freestyle pattern is a rambling prayer which accomplishes very little. God is a patterned God. The universe has a plan. The Tabernacle, Temple, New Jerusalem, human body, and everything else God has created has a plan and pattern. This also includes prayer. The disciples asked Jesus, “Teach us to pray.” The Lord’s Prayer is a pattern of prayer.

When you pray one hour something supernatural happens in your life. When you combine prayer (talking to God), fasting (humbly submitting to God) and Bible reading (God talking to you), you can become the person God called you to be!
